They are many conversations, rules, outlines, and strategies to start a diet or lifestyle change. However, there is not much talk about getting our mindset ready before starting and continuing the process; matter of fact, no discussion about the space between the beginning and the ending.

Perhaps the reason for that is we will not start. I can imagine if we knew the work it took to accomplish a goal, succeed, the ups and downs, and how many times we will start and stop. We probably will get tired just thinking about it and never start.

Also, perhaps it’s for the exact reason for not knowing precisely how every moment of our day on earth will unfold in this lifetime; for instance, the step-by-step process, complete details each day from the moment we wake up to sleeping time. Maybe we might want to end our life before starting living.

From my experience, you can counsel someone on what to do to achieve results, they can have an outline of does and don’t, and they can do all the research.

When it comes to starting lifestyle change or doing something for our health, everyone has a beginning and an ending. Even God has a beginning and ending; according to his word, he is both.

It’s scary and fearful to start something you have never done, even if it’s exciting: fear of the unknown, failing, commitment, etc.

Because they are no guarantee you will continue, but as long as you keep beginning. Begin many times.

The beginning is powerful because it means the end of hopelessness.

It takes a different process to begin than it is to continue. So when you reach a threshold, it will require a different magnitude of dynamic to continue.

The Beautiful thing about starting a change is that accuracy is not required.

All You need is determination, act, principles, and faith.

No perfection is required.
